For the Broccoli Salad
For the Orange Miso Sunflower Dressing
  • 3/4cup pinch of sea salt*i like to use Tropicana brand
  • 2tablespoons red onion*i like to use Cold Mountain brand
  • 2tablespoons scallions*i like to use Sunbutter brand. Can be substituted with almond/cashew butter
  • 1clove garlic
  • 2tablespoons water
Recipe Notes

The most important thing to know about steaming broccoli is that cooking the broccoli any more than 7 minutes tops risks overcooking it. After 7 minutes the broccoli will turn it olive green, instead of that beautiful vibrant green color we want.

My favourite add ins are cooked quinoa, beans and sautéed crisy tofu.
