I believe that staying positive is the core ingredient to coping and surviving in the midst of crisis.

Just as the saying goes “Staying positive doesn’t mean you have to always be happy. It means that even on hard days, you make the choice to expand rather than contract.” .
.
The virus has understandably put many of us in a very fearful and anxious state thanks to the negativity of cynical daily news broadcasts, unreliable sources of information on social media, and conversations with complete strangers, friends and sadly even family.

As hard as this is WE NEED TO STAY POSITIVE. Why? Because choosing to stay positive actually changes our brain chemistry! It improves our problem-solving abilities and EVEN increases the bodies immune system
.
Throughout the course of history, humans have always risen to face the challenges in their path. And usually, they emerge stronger than ever! We will get through this, in our communities, in our countries and as a human race
.
I’m urging you all today (and everyday forward) to do a mental health check. Ask yourself “how are you feeling today?”.
.
Remember, if you’re feeling down – you’re doing better than you think. Keep going 💚
